ACT Prep gears up at CHS!

ACT UP – Advancing Chargers Through Uplifted Performance. All students who have already scored a 21 or higher on their ACT will get a free t-shirt and the opportunity to eat lunch from a local food truck Friday, February 4. With the Spring ACT test coming soon, we are providing multiple opportunities for students in all grades to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to join this group of students by scoring a 21 or higher on their ACT. Each week leading up to the March ACT, the entire school will be focusing on one subtest of the ACT: English, Math, Reading, or Science. All students will watch a short ACT instructional video in their first block on Monday and Wednesday and take a short ACT quiz on Tuesday and Thursday. The class with the highest score as well as the class with the most improvement will get a treat on Friday. We appreciate the support of our community, especially HTL Advantage and the Tipton County Workforce Development office, in helping CHS build a culture of ACT success and helping our students see how the ACT can increase their post-secondary opportunities.
