Congratulations to the Covington FFA who recently placed 1st in the District and 4th in West TN at the 2017 West TN Dairy Judging Contest that was held at the Henry County Fairgrounds.  Through hard work and dedication, these students have now qualified for the state championships to be held on September 11th, 2017 at the Tennessee State Fair in Nashville, Tennessee.  Each student had to evaluate four sets of dairy cattle, give oral reasons on why they made their decision on two sets of cattle, and also had to test based on the dairy industry.  Good luck to these fine young people at the state finals.
